No discussion on ISAF supply with Gen Kayani says Gen Allen

During telephonic conversation between General Jhon Allen and General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani (HI) on 12 December 2011, the issue of reopening up of ISAF (international security assistance force)  supply route never came under discussion as has been highlighted in the statements of Commander ISAF. It would be appreciated that unnecessary speculation in this regard is avoided.

Last month on 26th November 2011 the ISAF supply was closed because of ISAF airstrike which killed 25 Pakistan Army men at Sala check-post. General Kayani took a serious notice of this and took necessary measure to react against future attack from the other side of the boarder.  Some of the major measures by the COAS were finishing the chain of command in army, ordering shooting down of ISAF drones, evacuating Shamsi and upgrading air defence system at Pak-Afghan border.

In last few weeks the Pak-US relationship has gone from bad to worst.
